It's Official!

Alright everyone, here is my news that I have been waiting to share: I left my job at the school for a once in a lifetime opportunity working with dogs for the wealthiest family in Thailand!  Ironically, I was asked to interview the day before my newspaper story hit the internet. And the week it hit the press, I was officially hired.  Awkward!

Long story short, I had been speaking with one of "his people," another very successful businessman and dog person, just about meeting the dogs/helping on weekend, and I made it clear I was NOT looking for work. But after about a month of communication with him, it just so happened that my now boss, let's call him Mr. C, reached out to him asking for his help finding "someone who knows what they are doing," and he thought of me.  When I spoke with him on the phone, I couldn't say no to an interview.  Meeting Mr. C was amazing, he is warm and kind, and a true DOG PERSON at heart, as well as a savvy businessman. He is establishing two new breeding programs, one in Labradors and one in Bulldogs.  I happen to be very good friends with the gal he got his foundation lab from, which is how I started talking to "his people" in the first place.  Anyway, he needs help, and I was here. And he is making sure I am well-cared for, that's for certain.

When will I come home? Not sure.
Will I be bringing dogs here? Possibly.
Does he have jobs for anyone who wants to move here? Definitely.
Was I looking for this? HELL NO.
Do I feel like this is destiny? HELL YES.
